Boxes and Jewels

Hi friends! Last week I took my old sterilite jewelry container to pieces and went through all of my jewelry and chose what to keep, toss etc. I settled on a new system to organize it, and so far I'm pretty happy with it! I can see everything that I have, and I can change it around too if I want to take some pieces and display them on my window sill if the mood strikes!

I opted to hold my big statement necklaces and chunky bracelets in old Brooks Brother's boxes that we had saved from Christmas and they fit them perfectly!

On my window sill, I decided to add some more jewels there in vintage tea cups that belonged to my aunt. They fit the sill perfectly and I think that they are a great option to fit small jewels like rings and earrings!

I'm happy with how everything looks and I can't wait to get to my bedside tables and work on those now!

Hope you all had fabulous weekends!

  1. I really like that you used a tea cup. I have my jewls in bowls, and trays in my dresser drawer.

  2. I keep my bracelets in two little bowls like this too! It works pretty well. Now if only I could find something like you have to organize my necklaces, I'd be all set!

  4. So smart to put it all on display! I end up wearing the same pieces because most of my jewelry is in a drawer.

  7. So fun! I love laying some of my jewelry out on display! I bought a really need earring fold out from the container store. It holds like 150 earrings or so? The pieces you don't care for, you should keep some of that jewelry in a costume box! You never know when you may go looking for it again! LOL xoxo A-
