Law 159
Earlier this week, Victoria talked about how she had been seeing these Laws of Modern Man everywhere on Pinterest. Well I have fallen victim to the intrigue. This is just one of the many laws that really resonate with me.
I think there is a difference between being thankful for life, and truly contemplating it and thinking about it. I have never considered myself ungrateful, but lately, I have been caught up in where others are versus where I am. I can't do that anymore. Life is way too short. I have everything I need and then some, so whenever I get that way, someone needs to just knock me in the arm and tell me to do this. I bet that would bring me back down.
What do you guys think of these Laws of Modern Man? Though some of them are a bit silly, I'd love to read more!
This is so true. We really do have so much to be thankful for, and sometimes that can be hard to remember and to realize. I saw these on Victoria's blog as well and love them! I like how you picked one and expanded on it!
ReplyDeleteI really like these! They make me happy! I especially enjoy the Law for the Modern Woman that reads: "Seek happiness. Everything else is secondary." Thanks for the share, Susan! :^)
ReplyDeletewhat a great reminder susan, thank you for sharing this! definitely stepping outside for lunch today
ReplyDeleteGreat quote!
ReplyDeletesuch good advice, I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, love that Tumblr! Such great quotes. Love the one you picked!
ReplyDeleteI really needed to see this. As of late, I've been somewhat down due to a few things here and there, and must be grateful for what I DO have. Life is too short to focus on the negative things in life..
