I just found your blog this morning and I had to become a follower! Oh my gosh, it has helped so so much. I will definitely take your tips into account and hopefully we'll be able to get to Ouray. It sounds fantastic!

We keep hearing that about drinking water and now after hearing your advice we will definitely keep downing bottles as often as we can. Sick is the last thing we want to be.

Thanks so much for finding my blog and giving me all of the advice! I hope...Hey, you're heading to my home state!!! I hope you have an amazing trip. I may be a little biased but I'm pretty sure Colorado is one of the most beautiful states in the union. Durango's pretty great. Don't know how long you're planning to be there but about 30-40 minutes from Durango is a little town called Ouray that's pretty famous for its gorgeous scenery. It's been nicknamed the "Switzerland of America." They also have an AMAZING hot springs pool there which is kind of a quintessential Colorado experience! AND ice cream at the drugstore on Main Street, too.

Advice: DON'T FORGET TO DRINK TONS OF WATER! Visitors hardly ever take this seriously but the altitude change is insane and you can get very, very sick! If you're feeling dizzy or nauseated your first day in the mountains, just remember to take it easy and keep the water going! Altitude sickness is real. :)

Have an AWESOME trip!!! I'll be excited to hear about it on your blog when you get back!Elizabeth @ Love Is the Adventurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09618935574628612955noreply@blogger.com
